Admiring Middleton Beach, Three Anchors restaurant is behind...

Before our game...

Albany Town Hall...this afternoon after our game Nat, Lee and I went for a coffee and a wander in and out of the shops in town.

We all then drove out to Ironwood Winery which is situated in the heart of the Porongurup Range. It is owned by Brian's sister. We had a very pleasant afternoon tasting wines and cheeses whilst gazing out towards the Stirling Range.

The winning WAMBAM team...every year we midweek ladies play the Saturday playing ladies in a matchplay competition and this year we won. Despite the heat and humidity we all had a really fun day.

What a lovely day I had today. After the beach I went to Silks Restaurant at the Crown with some great friends to celebrate Jenny's 60th birthday. Above are Jenny, Lorenz, Margaret and Pauline, at golf we call them the gang of four.

After Silks we walked across to the new Crown Metropol hotel for coffee and dessert. It was a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. In the evening Jeremy and Paul came over for a delicious roast pork dinner that Pete had prepared.

This evening Mandy, Pete and I went to the Chevron Gardens and saw The Saves and Lucius. Above are two photos of Lucius. It was an excellent concert and I just love the venue, the backdrop of the city buildings all lit up is stunning.
