Heavy rain today, no golf.

Since it was too early to get a coffee at the club house we all went to the cafe down the road.

First haircut.....

 

Just a 10 minute walk down the road from Tash and Todd's new home is Booragoon Lake. I stopped on my way home and had a quick look today as it was so calm and cloudy.

It's hard to believe that the lake is surrounded by a highway and suburbia.

Also stopped at Mill Point Road and admired the beautiful view of the city and its reflection.

While I was minding Ethan and Flynn, Tash spent time at Will's kindy....everyone had to dress up and the children sang some songs...

We played our first game of pennants today at Mt Lawley and we had a win. The team is Jenny, Mandy, me, Marjorie, Linda, Heather and Helen.

Enjoyed watching Jeremy's flight land this evening and glad that he had such a relaxing short holiday in Melbourne.

 

 

Our first really cold morning....

 

I discovered this new mural on one of the buildings in Subiaco...thought it was terrific.

 

We played for a special trophy today...the Budden Trophy. Dawn (Budden), who is well into her 80s and still plays good golf, made the trophy. She has taken up woodwork since her husband died. My friend Jane was thrilled to be the winner. 

And there were more celebrations...four ladies had birthdays this week and decided to bring a huge cake. Above is Julie, Belinda, Mardi F, Jan, Anne, Angie and Glenda.

Ethan is very pleased with the cubby at his new house....

....and little Flynn seems to love the new playroom.
