Jenny, Marjorie and Anna...Today was the second round of the Foursomes Championships...Jenny and I played well (after a dreadful game on Tuesday) and won. These three ladies were wonderful to play with.

Pete and I drove down to Cowaramup after my golf game.... a very enjoyable drive. Both of us were so pleased to see the Stokes family...especially Flynn as he is growing up so quickly.

Winter conditions this morning...rough, choppy ocean, full of sand and seaweed. But a blue sky and sunshine.

The impressive view of three fairways from the Gosnells Golf Club's clubhouse. Another perfect day for golf... their Silver/ Bronze.

Dark clouds this morning ...but they didn't stop everyone playing in the Budden Trophy...There was no rain and no wind...the perfect conditions for a photo.

What a surprise we all had as we walked into the Sprig Bar for lunch....new, comfortable, attractive tables and chairs! Sitting at lunch today with Dawn , our Trophy donor are Captain Robin, President Helen and Vice-Captain Ruth. The very appreciative winner of the Trophy was Judy Tompsett. Dawn is an inspiration to all. She is still playing 18 holes of golf twice a week (good golf too) at 86.

The Coronation of Charles 111 and Camilla

Yes I watched the Coronation on TV today....I wanted to hear all the music. The conductor of the Coronation Orchestra was Sir Antonio Pappano and he was amazing to watch.

The orchestra played beautifully before the ceremony began...some wonderful Bach.

Pretty Yende, wearing a spectacular yellow dress, performed a new piece by the British composer Sarah Class. Pretty is a South African opera singer.

I loved all the choral music performed by three combined choirs. It was the first time in history, girl choristers sang alongside the boy choristers of Westminster Abbey.

The Ascension Choir sang  a newly composed "Alleluia"...they were fantastic.

I thought I'd pop in a photo of Charles 111...

Jeremy sent this great photo of him and Kate Gould....I presume at a Law event. Kate is a good friend of Tasha's. They both look well and happy.

Looking for a lost ball...glorious day at the club.

I chose this book for my No1 bookclub. We had our discussion tonight and were all in agreement that it was an enlightening read. I was so pleased that they had enjoyed it.
