Phil and his smoker /barbecue ...Pete and I had another fabulous night with our next door neighbours and their friends...it's a brisket on the smoker, fabulous flavour.

We were waiting on the 1st tee for this family of ducks to cross the fairway...15 babies!

Bright red bottlebrushes are flowering all over Perth...they look stunning on the golf course.

Such a glorious day in Perth today...34 degrees...I stopped at Mosman Park to see the river on my way to Pam's to play Mahjong.

Returning to Perth...having fun taking photos with my new phone...

Forrest highway (and that is the correct spelling)...both sides of the road were covered with wattles in flower...

I'm pretty impressed with this phone's camera...we were travelling at 100 km/hr.

Margaret River foot bridge...we took a bucketful of gum nuts to throw in the water...Flynn and Ethan could do it for hours...

Our last night down south...at Mandy and Graeme's....they are minding this cute little dog..Teddy.

A delicious meal cooked by Graeme ...an enjoyable evening.

 

Spent the day with Mandy and Graeme ...Todd wanted to spend his birthday with his boys. Pete and I went for a walk along the Dunsborough foreshore this morning.

Tide was way out...nice to see such a sunny day.

Mandy, Pete and I visited three of the open studios...my favourite paintings were those of Carmen McFaull.

This is one of her paintings that I took from her website....I loved so many of them.
