Drawing before breakfast...

Mandy and Graeme came for morning tea this morning ....it's her birthday on the 26th but we had a little celebration today before Pete and I go home. Mandy is reading the birthday card that Will made for her.

Now she is reading the card from Ethan.....

Lighting the candles...

Singing Happy Birthday....it was a delicious chocolate cake .....

Flynn.....I think he is looking more like his mum as he gets older...

...his cheeky smile ...it always makes ME smile...

Tash was thrilled to find this fabulous framed print of two cowaras at the local Op Shop.......Cowaramup actually means "place of the cowara" ....

Tash cooked waffles for breakfast ....my favourite....

So many surfers in Cowaramup Bay and such a good swell ...Pete and I and the boys had a lucky few hours visiting the bay while the sun was shining...

Ethan and Flynn ...

It isn't easy to take a good photo of all three boys ...I think Pete must have been making Flynn laugh...and Will was posing for the shot...he very rarely looks like that...

The boys wanted to climb their (!) rock which is on the other side of the bay...it is quite a climb ...

Pete and Ethan

...winter seaweed...

...the clouds were so beautiful ...

Morning coffee with Flynn in Margaret River ...Ethan and Will were at school and Tash was teaching at "Our Lady of the Cape" in Dunsborough ...a gorgeous little cafe with the best tasting cakes and biscuits ....

...the cafe had one children's book, and Flynn loved it ....

Flynn has the most beautiful eyes and eyelashes ...

The balloons were a big hit after school ...they also caused a lot of arguments ...

All dressed up to go to a friend's 40th Birthday party ...the Theme was "movies shown in 1985 ...
I thought they looked great ...

Pete and I are spending a few days in Cowaramup ...unfortunately the sun won't be shining ...Shortly after we arrived Will had soccer training ...in the rain...this is Will and Max walking home.

Reading before bed ....nice and cosy in the Stokes home as they have a very efficient wood heater ...

Both Ethan and Will are reading Tintin books, which were read by my children ... so glad I had kept them.

Today was Round 2 of the Foursomes Championship..;.. Jenny and I played much better than Tuesday and came in 9th....we were a bit disappointed that we didn't make the top 8 pairs ....they now play match-play, quarter finals, semifinals and then the final match to decide the winning pair. But considering our handicaps, Jen and I were pleased with how we played.

After everyone had finished golf and their lunch many of us moved to the Cabana where we all enjoyed a drink and nibbles  as it was Robin Edwards' last day as a member of WAGC. Robin has been a member for 37 years ....she was (and still is ) a terrific golfer....winning many club competitions...it was nice that many people stayed to bid her farewell.

The wonderful view of the Sun City Golf Course from their clubhouse....it is a cool, clear morning for the Sun City Silver/Bronze.

I really enjoy playing  this course...long holes and plenty of trees, shrubs, birds and more...

It is not at all boring....every hole is quite different from the last.

And a very pretty lake with many ducks....

I was the Ladies Bronze Senior winner ...Dionne from Sun City Club came second. It wasn't easy today, all the scores were low as the greens were so quick and there are no flat greens ....

Lynne was the  Senior Silver Nett winner....we were both happy that we had made the drive up ...
