Pete eating a bacon and egg burger at Gracetown beach....Held each year on Easter Saturday the Bay Swim in Gracetown is a fantastic community event bringing together locals and holiday makers. The event is a one-kilometre course that begins and ends at Gracetown's main beach. This year Todd participated.

It was a sensational morning ...sunny and calm, clear water.

So many people ...young and old...

Having fun on the rocks...

Exploring the rock pools...

Building sand castles and watching the millipedes crawl down the sides.

Before the start of the swim...

Off they go....

Watching the swimmers finish the race....my beautiful blue eyed daughter...

Enjoying the water with Ethan...

The view from Mandy's front garden....

Pete and I enjoyed a walk and swim at Pt Picquet ...one of our favourite places down south.

The gorgeous clouds at sunset....

On the road to Cowaramup ....stunning clouds all the way

....Ethan batting and Will, the wicket keeper ....

Todd the bowler and Flynn the runner at the other end, patiently waiting for his turn to bat.

....he is only four years old but he gives his all...

I just love watching them play...

....they love showing Grandad how much their cricket skills have improved since we saw them last...

It was so nice to be outside amongst the trees...

From balance bike to pedals...and boy can he push those pedals...

Dunsborough foreshore...waiting for the moon to rise. Pete and I are staying at Mandy and Graeme's this visit .....

To see the moon rise over the water is a rare sight for those of us that live in Perth ...it was awesome, such a still evening, the water was like glass...

Kwinana Golf Course ....today Mandy and I played in their Silver/Bronze Event....

A Quenda on the course...

Lots of ducks....

....some geese...

The trees on the course were magnificent....some were extremely old...we had stunning weather for most of the game, then a little cloudy.

Jo Calvo takes all the players photos and then posts them on facebook. She does an excellent job at every event . These are the two lovely ladies that I played with...Jill from Hartfield Golf Club and Bev from Royal Fremantle Golf Club. We had a sensational day...

Mandy played with some of these ladies...all very good players...the lunch was fabulous, especially the desserts. Kwinana Golf Club always puts together a terrific Silver/ Bronze. I'll be there next year.

We had a perfect day today for the Hannan/Ireland mixed competition....Pete and I played with Mandy and Gary Swan...it was a very enjoyable game. I finally managed to get a photo of one of the many Red-tailed Black Cockatoos on the course, they are so beautiful to watch flying above while we are playing.

Our last day...we were supposed to play golf with Janine's sisters at Tee Tree Gully but unfortunately it was raining so we met with Deirdre and Bronwyn in North Adelaide.

North Adelaide has plenty of lovely old buildings....

We had coffee , cake and a lot of laughs at "Mercato", an Italian cafe, bar and supermarket.

Did some shopping in the city...

...and I played the piano at the airport while we were waiting for our plane to board...a first for me...

....a very comfortable trip home with an empty seat between Jane and I ... a good book to read... and a delightful sunset to enjoy in the air...
