Three lovely ladies ....Jane, Beth and Jenny ...Pete and I had such a pleasant evening with them and Bruce and Mark.

 

Early Sunday morning at City Beach and already very crowded as the temperature soars. 

 

Elizabeth Quay on a warm, still night....this photo taken from the foot bridge...I was quite impressed.

 

Inside the Spiegeltent, waiting for the show to begin....Perth Fringe World Festival at the new Elizabeth Quay....Pete and I really loved the show..."Limbo".

Pete and I had a very pleasant dinner with Tash and Todd this evening. They are staying at home most of this weekend to keep an eye on Rusty who has just had his surgery (boy dog surgery!). He is just amazing, he doesn't seem to notice he has a bucket on his head.

 

Thanks to Jeremy for today's beautiful photos. He is in New York, staying with a friend in Harlem. I think the one with the front door is a photo of where he is staying...so very New York.

 

These are a couple of his instagrams ...so wonderful to be able to share his holiday with him.

 

To celebrate Pete's birthday, Mandy, Gra, Tash, Todd, Jeremy, Pete and I all met at Il Lido in Cottesloe for a delicious lunch, very pleasant it was too.

Pete, Tash,Todd and I saw Dave Rawlings and Gillian Welch at the Concert Hall tonight. It was a fabulous performance and a wonderful birthday present from Tash and Todd. I pinched this photo off the web as no photography was allowed at the concert.

 

Elizabeth Quay was opened today, so I stopped at King's Park to take a photo...probably a bit far away for the iphone. While I was there and it was such a glorious day, I took some more photos. What a beautiful park and city we have.
