Perth Writers Festival at the University of Western Australia....

After a very enjoyable day at the Writers Festival, Pete and I slipped in to town and had a quick meal at one of the stalls at the Forrest Place food markets. We then saw another terrific Fringe show at the Cultural Centre, four young ladies called Gin and Tonic.

Cranes and clouds....A beautiful sky this morning, I noticed on the way to work . The new hotel Westin is being built on the old City fire station site.

Cathy, Rob and Jade Bondonno, having a picnic dinner before the movie "Sherpa" with Pete and I at the Joondalup Pines Outdoor cinema. We had a delightful night, warm weather, good company and a wonderful movie.

Early Sunday morning at City Beach and already very crowded as the temperature soars.

Elizabeth Quay on a warm, still night....this photo taken from the foot bridge...I was quite impressed.

Inside the Spiegeltent, waiting for the show to begin....Perth Fringe World Festival at the new Elizabeth Quay....Pete and I really loved the show..."Limbo".

One of the booths in the Spiegeltent...I just loved the mirrors and woodwork.

Pete and I had a very pleasant dinner with Tash and Todd this evening. They are staying at home most of this weekend to keep an eye on Rusty who has just had his surgery (boy dog surgery!). He is just amazing, he doesn't seem to notice he has a bucket on his head.

Thanks to Jeremy for today's beautiful photos. He is in New York, staying with a friend in Harlem. I think the one with the front door is a photo of where he is staying...so very New York.

These are a couple of his instagrams ...so wonderful to be able to share his holiday with him.
