Thanks to Michelle for this one of Chris looking so relaxed

I'm down in Busselton for a ladies golf tournament. Nola and I had a brief stroll on the beach after our game.

Two good friends, Valerie and Jenny at the dinner this evening...

Nola and I traveled down and stayed together.

It is a tradition that on our Opening Day of the golfing season, our President hits the first ball down the first fairway. This year Lorenz is President and she hit a nice straight ball (there is always the fear that it will veer left and go in the lake.

Me with my two good friends, Jane and Veronica. Jane and I won playing together today.

The last of the stayers out on the balcony after our Opening Day lunch.

It was a very good day for me, not only winning today's competition but also the Summer Cup which is always announced on Opening Day.

I have been feeling crook the last couple of days with a head cold. Tash sent me a really sweet video of Will  from which I took this photo. He is starting to talk in his own way, so cute.

What a perfect morning for an early morning walk and swim at Middleton Beach...Pete and I slipped out whilst the others slept.

There were far fewer people around ...the shells were pretty...the water was warm.

After saying goodbye to the others, Pete and I visited Julie in her new home in Albany.  It was so nice to see her and her home, especially now before she transforms it as we know she will.

Thankfully this evening Mandy had invited us to dinner as Pete and I were both pretty tired after the long drive home. Thought I would pop in a photo of Suzie and Millie, they are such sweeties and getting on in age now.

At Three Anchors waiting for our breakfast...

Middleton Beach...very busy with a few volley ball matches going on...

Admiring Middleton Beach, Three Anchors restaurant is behind...

Before our game...

The course looked so much prettier with fewer clouds and the water was bright blue.

Albany Town Hall...this afternoon after our game Nat, Lee and I went for a coffee and a wander in and out of the shops in town.

We all then drove out to Ironwood Winery which is situated in the heart of the Porongurup Range. It is owned by Brian's sister. We had a very pleasant afternoon tasting wines and cheeses whilst gazing out towards the Stirling Range.
