The path from Gnarabup to Surfers Point where the Margaret River Pro is being held. It is a very pleasant walk.

View of the Point and the flags and crowds...

One of the women's heats, a woman on either end of the wave...you can just see on the left is (in red shirt) Tyler Wright, the world champion. In the shallows is one of the guys on a jet ski...there were six of them keeping the surfers safe.

Big crowds watching...a marvellous atmosphere ...superb warm day...

On our way home.....the road to Vasse, it's always beautiful.

Final stop on the way home, a visit with Tash and Will, love them.

Before our game today we went to Redgate Beach for a little wander...

....stunning beach...

big waves and big rocks...great combo...

Pete on the fairway...

Anne, Jane W, Jane E and myself...we all won something and I won the money for best score amongst the WAGC ladies....we look and were very happy. Today Pete and I played with John and Leonie Bell from Margaret River, great company.

Not the greatest photo taken with the iPhone but it reflects the happy night we had at Morries.

Yesterday Pete and I drove down to Margaret River. We are staying in a delightful airBnB just off Caves Road very near the Margaret River Golf Club where we will be playing this weekend. We had a lovely sleep in this morning then drove down to Gnarabup to see the water . You can just see Surfers Point in the distance, where the Margaret River Pro Surfing Competition is happening.

Gnarabup.

After a brief stay at the beach we headed to the Margaret River Golf Club, our tee time was 12.30. The course is looking wonderful and the weather was perfect, we really enjoyed our game with Charlie and Sue Lancey.

My darling grandson with his favourite brightly coloured material book...it is wonderful to observe him learning to touch and grasp.

This is how Will looks when he really concentrates, so cute.

I tried to keep Will occupied today whilst Tash arranged flowers for a wedding which she has tomorrow. They looked stunning when she was finished, I'm sure the bride will be very pleased. I just loved my day with her and Will.

Chris sent us this photo of Michelle with their two house guests for a couple of days. I think Michelle would like to keep them judging by that terrific smile!
