A very cold morning at the beach but so glad to see it looking so beautiful...very unusual number of shells and the way the water had come up on the sand like a little brook.

It always amazes me how very different the beach can look from one week to the next.

Perth is experiencing some very cold weather this week....it was freezing in the early morning at the golf course. Everyone was rugged up in black!

My playing partners, Jane E, Jenny F and Anne...ladies in black in the bunker.
after a few holes it warmed up ...perfect day for golf.

Our new painting that Pete and I bought in Broome...It was painted by Alexandria Loomoo. Alexandria has painted her grandmother's story. Nungurrai Loomoo was an established and magnificent artist.. Alexandria has depicted some of her grandmother's country south of Balgo, along the middle stretches of the Canning Stock Route. This country here is called Yarangarri after the prominent warniri (rock hole) depicted in the centre of the painting. This warniri is an inta or living water and always has a reliable source of water. The many parallel lines represent the tali (sandhills) that dominate this country and the dotting depicts the abundance of mungari (bush tucker) in the country.
