A cold and windy day today....perfect for mahjong in Pam's beautifully heated lounge room....I stopped on the way home to look at the waves...

 

Only Pauline and I this morning ....some beautiful flowers on our walk...reminding us that spring is not far away.

 

I am reading this book at the moment ....it is fabulous ...am also enjoying Carly Simon's songs on Spotify...

 

WAGC had a very successful Silver/ Bronze event today. We were lucky with the weather...the food was delicious and lots of friends caught up with each other. These were my three playing partners...Felicity (Lake Karrinyup). Casey (Collier Park), me and Lyn (WAGC). We had an enjoyable day.

 

Watching the Olympics again this morning....the boys were excited when they saw Australia win a gold medal.

On our way home now after an absolutely fabulous weekend with Tash and her boys. Our first stop was the Protea Farm ...always a pleasure...

Drove through the Tuart Forest National Park instead of the highway since it was such a sunny day.

We dropped in to visit Dani and Adrienne in Mandurah ...I took this photo from their outdoor area ...just managed to catch a photo of a  dolphin swimming under the bridge...

They have a gorgeous new home, beautifully decorated inside and these stunning views outside.

The colours changed as the sun began to set...

So pleased we could finally catch up...such good friends.

What a fabulous spot...waves,water, shells, rocks, sea glass, treasures... the boys loved it, I loved it too.

It looked like we would get wet but the black clouds remained over the ocean.

Grandad gives the swing a good push... We all spent the afternoon in the garden enjoying the sunshine and pulling out weeds...

For the very first time, Ethan went from one end of the monkey bars to the other without a fall..Will was cheering him on, which was so sweet...and Ethan was thrilled.
