This morning Kelly ( a new member at WAGC) and I played in the Lakelands Country Club Open Day ...it's so enjoyable to venture to the outer suburban clubs...we saw horses!

....and some Shetland ponies...

This is beautiful part of the course... little path amongst the paperbarks between the tees....it was Kelly's first visit to Lakelands, she thought it pretty too.

Plenty of Grevilleas displaying their colourful flowers...

....wide! fairways but very fast greens...we didn't play well but enjoyed the course...

....and an absolutely delicious lunch. 

 

Our last pennant game today....we won, on our home course as we should have...7 teams competed in Division 4 and we came in 4th. I won 4 out of the 5 games I played. We were a great team, lots of fun and laughs and Lisa D was a terrific captain. 

From the left ...Kelly, Kerrie, Kristen, Joanne, Anne, Lisa D, Jeiun and me. Linh and Janet were also part of the team but not present for the photo. We are all eager to play again next year.

 

Our view has changed...several trees have been removed due to the realignment of the men's tee on the second hole...

A glorious still morning , ideal for golf. Pete and I enjoyed our game with Doris and Glenda D...

New bedside lamps in our bedroom....Chris and Michelle have these lamps in the guest room in Melbourne and Pete and I thought they would look good in our bedroom...we ordered them on line and picked them up from the post office when we arrived home.
